Please note that you will be required to present valid photo ID. If you are under 16, you can register for a library card by having a legal guardian co-sign the terms of agreement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To borrow materials for home use, you must have a residential address in Sweden.<br>If you do not live in Sweden, you are still welcome to use our collections on-site at the library.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your library account is personal, and you are responsible for all items borrowed under your name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You may borrow up to 75 items at a time, including a maximum of 14 complete orchestral sets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All borrowed material must be returned in good condition. You are responsible for returning items on time, even if you are travelling or unwell.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>By registering for a library card, you accept our handling of your personal data in accordance with the GDPR.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will automatically be added to our newsletter, but you can unsubscribe at any time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/external-link-icon><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"w-constrained richtext\"><external-link-icon>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Loan periods<\/h2>\n<\/external-link-icon><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"w-constrained richtext\"><external-link-icon>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The standard loan period is <strong>30 days<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/external-link-icon><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"w-constrained richtext\"><external-link-icon>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If no one else has reserved the item, you may renew it up to <strong>seven times<\/strong>. Each renewal adds another 30 days to your loan period.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Loan period for orchestral materials is <strong>60 days.<\/strong> If there is no queue, you may renew the loan up to <strong>three times<\/strong> (30 days per renewal).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If more than two people are waiting for the same item, the loan period is shortened to <strong>14 days<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Always check your return date via your account or contact the library.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/external-link-icon><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"w-constrained richtext\"><external-link-icon>\n<p>Some materials are <strong>reading room only<\/strong> and must be used on-site. These are labelled \u201cReading room loan\u201d in the catalogue.<\/p>\n<\/external-link-icon><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"w-constrained richtext\"><external-link-icon>\n<p>Individual parts from complete orchestral sets are usually available as reading room loans only.<\/p>\n<\/external-link-icon><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"w-constrained richtext\"><external-link-icon>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reminders and overdue notices<\/h2>\n<\/external-link-icon><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"w-constrained richtext\"><external-link-icon>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You\u2019ll receive a reminder <strong>3 days before the due date<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you do not return your items, you will receive two overdue notices \u2013 one after 2 days and another one after 10 days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After the second notice, your account will be blocked from reserving or borrowing items. The block is lifted once the items are returned or the replacement fee is paid.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/external-link-icon><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"w-constrained richtext\"><external-link-icon>\n<p>We offer reminders and overdue notices as a courtesy service, but we cannot guarantee delivery.<\/p>\n<\/external-link-icon><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"w-constrained richtext\"><external-link-icon>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Collecting materials on someone else\u2019s behalf<\/h2>\n<\/external-link-icon><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"w-constrained richtext\"><external-link-icon>\n<p>Someone else can collect materials for you if they bring your library card or photo ID.<br>Also, you can notify us in advance who will collect the materials \u2013 in that case, no ID is needed.<\/p>\n<\/external-link-icon><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"w-constrained richtext\"><external-link-icon>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Replacement fees<\/h2>\n<\/external-link-icon><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"w-constrained richtext\"><external-link-icon>\n<p>If items are not returned, you will receive an invoice after the second overdue notice.<\/p>\n<\/external-link-icon><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"w-constrained richtext\"><external-link-icon>\n<p>Replacement fees for lost or damaged items:<\/p>\n<\/external-link-icon><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"w-constrained richtext\"><external-link-icon>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Books: SEK 700<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sheet music: SEK 500<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Orchestral works (full set): SEK 1,500<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Individual string parts from orchestral sets: SEK 300 each<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other individual parts from orchestral sets: SEK 500 each<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Single journal issues: SEK 150 each<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CDs: SEK 150<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/external-link-icon><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"w-constrained richtext\"><external-link-icon>\n<p>The library reserves the right to assess each case individually.<\/p>\n<\/external-link-icon><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"w-constrained richtext\"><external-link-icon>\n<p>If you pay a replacement fee and later find the item, the fee is non-refundable.<\/p>\n<\/external-link-icon><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"w-constrained richtext\"><external-link-icon>\n<p>You are responsible for any costs associated with returning materials to the library.<\/p>\n<\/external-link-icon><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"w-constrained richtext\"><external-link-icon>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Orchestral materials<\/h2>\n<\/external-link-icon><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"w-constrained richtext\"><external-link-icon>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Orchestral sets can be booked in advance. Please <a href=\"https:\/\/musikochteaterbiblioteket.se\/en\/about-the-music-and-theatre-library-of-sweden\/contact-us\/\">contact the orchestral department<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each orchestra or ensemble should appoint one person responsible for loans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Returned material must be sorted in score order.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you borrow only the conductor\u2019s score from a full orchestral set, the loan period is <strong>2 weeks<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For loans of individual parts from a set, please <a href=\"https:\/\/musikochteaterbiblioteket.se\/en\/about-the-music-and-theatre-library-of-sweden\/contact-us\/\">contact the orchestral department<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Full orchestral sets may be borrowed for home use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/external-link-icon><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Library card Loan periods Some materials are reading room only and must be used on-site.
